Welding aluminium

Its light weight, corrosion resistance and mechanical strength have made aluminium increasingly popular as a material for automotive construction. Due to the high conductivity of the base material and the poor conductivity of the oxide layer, the aluminium material has been difficult to use so far, especially for spot welding. For this purpose, Harms & Wende has developed new control methods (AMC/AMF) that allow problem-free aluminium welding.
