Analogue HWI

The medium-frequency inverter AnalogHWI is a power unit for operating a medium-frequency welding transformer in corresponding welding systems. The setpoint for the welding current is specified via an analogue signal. The user thus has a simple interface with which the current level and the current time can be set. The welding sequences can thus be individually designed.

Areas of application are spot and seam welding machines as well as heat applications.

The analogue HWl inverters are available in different performance classes. The AnalogHWI product series offers the possibility of a power increase by means of a slave power unit (from power class 240 kVA). All corresponding analogue HWIs are equipped with a master function.

The AnalogHWI inverters can be operated in set or current-controlled mode. For current times longer than 7 seconds, we recommend the use of Hall sensors for current measurement in regulated operation; corresponding inverters are available for this purpose.
