AC Mains frequency weld controller

The GeniusACS Mains Frequency Welding Controller is the newest addition to the Genius system.
The GeniusACS takes full advantage of the Genius system’s modular hardware and software and expands it to include
a 50/60 Hz version. It is available in 1-phase and 3-phase versions (GeniusACS1 and GeniusACS3).
The GeniusAC controller is available in versions for spot welding, projection welding, and compaction,
and will eventually replace the Ratia controller.

Operating Concept

• Centralized control of up to 40 controllers using the XPegasus operating software via Ethernet
• Decentralized control of a single controller using Xcomand2.1

The user has access to different operating levels. The user can efficiently set basic parameters such as welding time and welding current and, if necessary, adjust detailed welding parameters to configure highly customized welding processes. Welding programs can be stored in the internal memory. Settings are entered directly via the integrated menus, which are selected by turning and pressing the jog wheel. Using keys on USB flash drives, users can be assigned various permissions to modify the control configuration or welding parameters. Firmware updates or feature enhancements can be conveniently loaded via a USB flash drive.

Leistungsstark und zukunftssicher

SiniusAC ist wahlweise mit Konstantstromregelung und einem Zündausgang (SiniusAC1) oder als SiniusAC3 mit bis zu drei Zündausgängen erhältlich. Die Drei-Ausgangs-Variante ermöglicht zudem Schweißprozesse mit 3-Phasen-Gleichstrom und erweitert so das Einsatzspektrum erheblich.

Für eine reibungslose Kommunikation stehen moderne Feldbusschnittstellen wie Profibus, EtherCAT und ProfiNet zur Verfügung.

Maximale Skalierbarkeit

Mit der Kaskadierungsfunktion lassen sich bis zu 16 Module mit insgesamt 48 Zündausgängen miteinander verbinden. Die zentrale Parametrierung über das Kopfmodul sorgt für eine einfache und komfortable Bedienung aller angeschlossenen Schweißprozessoren – auch bei umfangreichen Anlagen.

The welding controller MPS10 is a programmable 5-time controller for the control of 1-phase welding machines with up to eight welding programmes.

All operating functions of the MPS10 control stage are handled via a clearly arranged control panel. The use of standardised icons for resistance welders results in a user-friendly, language-independent interface.

All necessary controls for editing and configuration are located on the front panel. The electrical connections required for operation are located on the rear panel.
