Different operating levels are available to the user. They can efficiently set the basic parameters such as welding time and welding current and, if required, also change detailed welding parameters to adjust individual welding sequences. The welding programmes can be stored in the internal memory. Input is made directly via the integrated menus, which are selected by turning and pressing the jog wheel. Keys on USB sticks can be used to assign the user various authorisations to change the control configuration or the welding parameters. Firmware updates or function extensions can be conveniently loaded via USB stick.

Filius welding controllers are suitable for spot and projection applications as well as seam function with pliers and extended range of functions. The “Classic” version is the solution for automated welding tasks in mechanical engineering. It allows a pressure or force programme to be controlled with the second solenoid valve or the proportional valve output. There are 128 programmes available for a variety of tasks. The “Classic” version always contains the IQ functionalities and other features:

It is equipped with 24 V I/O, outputs for the control of a solenoid valve and a pre-stroke valve as well as eight programmes. Electrode management is of course also available.
