International Working Group WG2 in ISO/TC 44 SC 6

WG 2 (ISO/TC 44/SC 6/WG 2, Resistance welding equipment) deals with all topics concerning equipment for resistance welding. The working group meets twice a year and pushes the work on international standardisation and unification of these topics. These topics are worked on and added to nationally in the mirror committees of German standardisation and the work in DVS (DVS AG V3).

In WG 2, experts from different countries regularly work on the revision and new version of a wide variety of standards. As already reported, despite the active contribution by the working groups in the DVS, there is a lack of German participation in these international bodies on the German side. Here, everyone is called upon to stand up for German interests in the field of resistance welding and to cooperate.
