Welding processor

Like a welding module, the welding processor is a welding controller without a control panel. The operation and the welding process are realised via a higher-level control, usually a PLC, programmable logic controller. The difference to the welding module lies in the possibility to flexibly and variably design the welding sequence from this higher-level control. The welding processors form the link between the system control, PLC or robot and the welding power unit. The welding processor thus takes over the core welding functionality.

These welding processors enable machine or plant builders and welding users to set up individual resistance welding process systems adapted to the respective requirements. The welding processors can be controlled and programmed via field buses. This results in a high degree of flexibility, ideal adaptability and reliability. The welding processors are suitable for all resistance welding processes. Harms & Wende offers Sinius welding processors for all types of power levels, from 50/60 Hz mains frequency to 1000 Hz medium frequency and 10,000 Hz high frequency technology.

For the connection of the Sinius welding processors, Harms & Wende also offers workshops for the PLC interface.
