Production equipment in resistance welding technology

The working group AG V3.8 of the joint committee of DVS and DIN NA 092-00-12-06 AK “Fertigungsmittel in der Widerstandsschweißtechnik” has existed for more than a quarter of a century. It is made up of employees from institutes, users of resistance welding technology, predominantly from the automotive industry, as well as manufacturers of machines, welding systems and system components.

The working group has set itself the goal of making the extensive experience available in the field of the application of resistance welding technology accessible to users, especially small and medium-sized companies without their own research and process departments, in the form of information sheets. In addition, the group works on current topics, e.g. electromagnetic compatibility, and tries to explain complicated issues in an understandable way or to give recommendations.

In the past, especially the leaflets “Resistance welding with industrial robots” and its sequel “Welding energy systems for resistance welding robots, the design of the secondary circuit and the periphery” have aroused great public interest.
