Another year is coming to an end. We were just discussing the summer weather, is it still weather or is it already climate?
The terrible reports of floods and storm surges in southern Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe were already coming. Then the Carola Bridge collapsed in Dresden – a bridge collapse out of the blue in Germany? That can’t be true!? Recently, the horror images from Spain followed with floods and tragically high numbers of victims. This reinforces the question about weather or climate.
One has to talk about a different kind of climate in view of the election campaign in the USA and, above all, the outcome. Also about the news from Berlin, the traffic lights are out and we are having new elections. If you look at the situation of our economy in general and the not entirely insignificant automotive industry in particular, this can and must be seen as a necessary opportunity to regain stable foundations and orientation.
